What This Policy Covers
This policy explains what personal information Lumiere Cafe ("we", "us") collects through this website, how we use it, and how we protect it. We are committed to handling your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information We Collect
We may collect:
- Contact details you give us, such as your name, email address or phone number, when you use our contact form or get in touch with us directly.
- Payment-related information processed at the time of an in-store transaction. We do not store full card numbers — card payments are handled by our payment terminal / payment provider, not by this website.
- Basic technical information collected automatically when you visit this website, such as browser type and pages visited, which helps us understand how the site is used.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to respond to enquiries, process orders and payments, improve our website and service, and meet our legal obligations.
Cookies
This website may use cookies or similar technologies to remember basic preferences and understand how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work as well as a result.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted third parties who help us run our business — for example payment processors or IT service providers — only as needed to provide our services, and in line with their own privacy obligations.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. See our Security Policy for more detail.
Accessing & Correcting Your Information
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and request that we correct it, by contacting us.
